| We stop at Pleasant Cove and drive up to Red River and do a little looking around on the dirt tracks. Up here where you would expect to find big "off roaders" we find a bentley and an Aston martin!(turns out that it is the "in house retreat" at Gampo Abbey (a buddhist monastery) a bit of an open day type thing so presumably the Bentley is dropping someone off?) When we return to the Trail and we climb up the mountain roads and we can then see just where we have come from. As we are parked there some other tourists are stopped looking at some whales. On closer inspection I find that these whales are in fact 6 of the towns tourist boats out on the sea looking for whales! Then we have cries of “oh look at the white fish” Not knowing what a “white fish” decide to have a look and see waves crashing over rocks? Not to sure how good their opticions are over here! |
