Ready to leave Lewis & Clark RV Park, Astoria, OR

Brookhollow RV Park, #7, Kelso, WA.... a good overnight stop

We had a leisurely move today. We lounged around this morning, placed a Nikken order for new supplements and finally rigged the rig for travel. We had about and hour and a half ride to Kelso WA. It was a very scenic trip but since a lot of it was on mountain roads it was slow and a tough drive but we completed it without incident.

It was raining when we arrived at Kelso so Doug got to set up in the rain. This was probably the first time that has happened in years. It was only a light rain so it wasn’t too bad. We are camped at Brookhollow RV park. We had stayed here several years ago on our return trip from Alaska.

Doug gave Fillmore a bath after lunch while JoAnn washed the floor. It was easy to get him upstairs when she started the vacuum cleaner. He hates vacuum cleaners but loves to play with a leaf blower. Go figure.

Later this afternoon Doug drove across town to a Wally World as we need a new filter for our external water filter. Surprisingly WW didn’t have one. As a matter of fact they didn’t have much of anything in the way of RV supplies.
