Celebrating 200 miles!

We went to the Bass Pro Shop in our free time.

Today we left the comfort of our home and our cat for Springfield, Missouri today. We left at about 9:45 A.M. We traveled about 150 miles till we stopped for lunch at Apple bees. Once we were back in the car we traveled 200 miles till we reached our hotel for the night, Baymont Inn.

We avoided traffic from an accident on the highway. A car drove 50 feet into a tree, the car flipped and there dog, a chihuahua (i don't know if I spelt that right), fell out of their car and fled into the woods. We were about a mile back stuck in traffic when we saw a car drive through the grass to the front edge road. Soon after more vehicles followed and we decided to do the same. As we drove we saw a helicopter, 2 ambulances, a fire truck, and 3 police cars. Many people were standing out side their cars waiting. As we were passing, a lady, who lived near by, told us the story. As we continued we saw the helicopter leave and we thought God bless us for making us so safe on our road trips. Soon we reached our hotel and relaxed.

Dinner was Texas Roadhouse ( haven't eaten there in a long time.) A little before we ate dinner we went to the Bass Pro Shop. It was huge! Kaelyn got a new fishing pole and a bobber and we all got a t-shirt. As much as Kaelyn wanted to go to the pool we couldn't because it was too late and Kelsey had a stomach ache.
