I feel like a broken record because today offered some more breath taking scenery and beautiful weather. We were in glacier bay national park where we were within a 1/4 mile from a 250 foot glacier. We saw calving (where the ice falls off the glacier into the water). There was not a bad seat on the boat. We had amazing scenery 360 degrees around us! Guess what the temperature was...nope...it was 80 degrees. That's right 80 degrees in Alaska. Thanks mother nature! Let me tell you it was rough. We sat in lounge chairs drinking beer and watching as the boat circled to give a 360 degree view of the spectacular scenery. We didn't even have to open our own beer. The crew kindly came over to open it for us. Ahhh, life's rough. We're not coming home. We are going to live in this dream as long as possible.
We are going to miss all the fireworks back home so enjoy them for us. Happy 4th!
