Wow, what a catch!

Bikes in front of the Alpine Motel, Coopers Landing

Homer Harbor, for you Lyle!

We awoke, and decided to leave today instead of staying another night. Our ride on 7/3 in to Whittier was going to 5 hours and we had reservations on the ferry, AND, had to be there 2 hours prior to 2:45. We did laundry, and Ron (who is a chiropractor, and Nancy a masseuse, spelling??) came by with their RV. We sat outside of the hotel, they had a picnic area, and while laundry and packing things to be mailed, Ron did Acupunture on Cath and I, and then adusted our necks and back.....pretty cool! We had lunch at Crabbie Patties....No, remember, I am "Patti with an i"!!! The halibut is absolutely to die for around here. We shopped and walked around the "Spit" for hours before leaving. We got about 115 miles from Homer in to Coopers Landing, where we saw the bear. We got a room at the Alpine Motel, Alaskan Troutfitters. That area is a popular fly fishing area, unfortunately, I forgot my rod!! Had dinner at the Kingfisher (salmon cakes) and showered, and bed. We are headed for the "tunnel" tomorrow!
