So I luckily got into florence yesterday but had a few mishaps on the way. For some reason I thought my flight out of Brussels left at 1:45 but stupidly I was looking at the arrival time instead of the departure time. So when I checked into the airport at 11:00 the guy was like you should get to your gate right now becasue you are boarding in 20 min & of course the brussels airport is huge and so confusing. So I was panicking through the airport thinking of what I was gonna do if I missed my flight but thankfully I got there about 5 min before we started boarding. Then I sat next to this huge French guy with one of those curled up mustaches but he eventually ended up moving seats halfway through thank god. When I got off the plane some girl asked if I was doing FUA too and so I offered her to ride with me to the school but she turned out to be a wierdo and didnt have a visa, euros, or classes yet and ended up being at a totally dif school. When I finally got to my apartment and up the 4 stories with all my bags I realized I had the wrong key so I was locked out of my apartment and all of my roomates were across town at our orientation which I was already missing. Thankfully I realized I had the cell phone that they gave me and called the woman at school so she eventually sent the cleaning lady to give me the right set of keys. Good start to the beginning of the trip huh? But anyways our apartment is so nice it has a huge open kitchen area, pretty nice bathroom, and 2 bedrooms with closets and drawers and everything and our window opens up to a huge marketplace that goes on every day. The terrace is soo pretty and is perfect for sitting drinking wine and relaxing and im so excited to do that tonight. One of our roomates is a wierdo that is a freshman going to BC but the other one is pretty cool. We havent met a bunch of people in our program yet but we are going to a wine/aperativo thing tonight with everyone in the program so that will be fun. The weather is so hot especially since we are walking everywhere (the walk to class is about 30 min) but I guess that will be our exercise! They also have a gym through the school and have yoga and Zumba classes so thatll be fun. Tomorrow we are planning on going to Cinque Terre cant wait!
