Katakalon, Greece – 6/18/09
Warm and steamy. Not much going on here as there are only two streets in town, roughly a quarter mile long. Olympia and Corinth are the major draws here. The only feature that defines this as an island is the Corinth Canal, built by the French in the 18th century, that connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea.
