Signed into Pacific Beach state park. 30 per night with electricity and water in a central position. Campsite right on ocean with a large lot as we have no neighbours in the surrounding sites. Buddy loved this site and was quite independent. Walked the beach and relaxed. Met Carla and Tony. Tony was a non stop talker who talked about how poor they used to be, how many rental houses they owned and fixed up and how his grandfather, a german spent the war years in a russian prisoner of war camp. Met them when they showed interest in our Trailmanor. Tomorrow we will walk the trails and check out the Naval resort and restaurant. Not much here to do but relax. Met many other campers who were charmed by Buddy. Very friendly park to dogs- can be off leash in beach area which is in a natural shape- not groomed and very duney because of the strong winds. Almost too cool to sit out until late afternoon and then only sheltered by the Trailer Leak in trailer from pump. Made funny noise on hot water and leaked into cabinet in bathroom.
