Fall in Africa
| The tiny village of Hogsback is a bit of a hippie hideaway up in the mountains. Many artists and foodies who are interested in organic farming have settled here and it feels very much like parts of Lompico where I (Christy) grew up. There is even a park with some California Redwood trees and Monterrey Pines. We spent two nights here doing day hikes, relaxing and eating some nice, local food. The trails were not particularly well marked and there were some wrong turns taken. Fortunately, we were able to find our way back into town eventually. |
