HARLEY'S TRIP travel blog

Well, here we are on the final stretch into home plate .... I just met the cutest little Westy named Button. She had a funny haircut tho - like shaved, and a pretty pink collar. I think she liked me BOL! Truth be known, I think I've had my fill of pretty little ladies on this trip! I'm ready to be home and have a good romp in the back yard with Jack. I wonder if he knows I'm coming home tomorrow? We'll have a grand time getting reacquainted and I have so much to tell him!

Yep, he's right - we left Fort Collins at 8:00 this morning and are now laying over in a rest stop just north of the Utah border (click for pics). The best sign to see was the one welcoming us to Idaho! It's hard to believe that we are at the end of our sojourn. It's been a fun trip, some things we'd do different next time - yep they'll be a next time.

Sean called today and it sounds like we had a terrific windstorm yesterday - we lost one of our aspen trees in the back yard. They don't have a real good root system, so it didn't surprise us. We're anxious to get home, see the kids and grandkids, and RELAX! Dick fought the wind all across Wyoming today, but no rainstorms.

We'll have a final blog in a couple of days just to wrap up our trip. We hope you have enjoyed it just as much as we have. Love to you all ....
