Wahweap RV Park Lake Powell
| Week two at Orchard Ranch RV has brought more good weather and more visitors. Judy's brother came up and spent one night. Judy's cousin Doug and Irene stopped by for a visit and we went with them into Prescott for a late lunch at Gurley Street Grill. Friends Dave and Andrea came up for a quilt show at Prescott High School. Judy and Andrea went to the quilt show and Dave and I stayed here and shot a few games of pool at the recreation room. Judy and I drove down to the valley for lab tests. It was 103 degrees! After being in the 80's for a couple of weeks the heat really got to me. Last night I went to see the movie Angels and Demons starring Tom Hanks. I had read the book last month and have been waiting for the movie to come out. I would rate the movie 4 *'s out of 5. We are looking at places to stay at on our next part of the trip. Lake Powell at Page,AZ has several RV camps on our route. Waheap RV Camp at Glen Canyon NRA looks like a winner. http://www.lakepowell.com We will only be staying one or two nights and then on to Zion and Bryce Parks. |
