We drove about 475 miles on Thursday to Daniel, Wyoming and after a good nights sleep hit the road for the final leg of our trip. Friday we drove about 200 miles through some absolutely beautiful country, including the Teton National Park to our destination. We are now in Island Park, Idaho and this is one of the most beautiful parks we have stayed at. Red Rock RV Park is about six miles from the closest stores and is in a very remote area, just the way we like it. This small campground is surrounded by snow capped mountains and we are about a mile from the worlds famous Henry's Lake. There is lots of ATV riding and fishing in the area, so we're happy campers. A couple of our fellow "Class of 2006" classmates, Gordon and Juanita, told us about this park and they are also here and it's been great seeing them again. Unfortunately since we've been here it's been kinda rainy most days so Rick's been busy working on his newest project, tying flies for fishing. He did this years ago and has now starting doing it again. It's been amazing that since it's been raining everything has turned green in front of our eyes and the wildflowers are popping up everywhere. Our plans are to stay here a week or so before one more stop in Ennis, MT for some more fishing and then finally reaching our final destination of Dillon, MT for the summer and fall.
