So I’ve got a lot of catching up to do!
Today I left to Cape Coast. It’s a fairly big town in Ghana.
Getting there was rather annoying. We had to take a tro because the buses were either full or had already left.
The tro “mate” then decided to rip us off and charge us 3.50 when everyone on the tro was standing up for us tell him that it’s only supposed to be 3.00 GC per person.
Normally I wouldn’t mind paying 3.50, but it was the fact that he wanted to jip us because we were white! Craziness…
Anyway, we finally arrive at the hotel called “Sammos” and booked ourselves 2 rooms.
I stayed in a bedroom with my friend Liz, she’s from London, so I spend about 75% of my time with her trying to imitate her accent.
She then proceeds to make fun of me for the other 25% of the time, telling me what a terrible job I’m doing.
So the hotel was nice… in African standards. We were all ecstatic about the fact that we had running water with a shower.
