Christy and John's Travels travel blog

We spent a night in Doha airport enroute to South Africa. Doha and their neighbors import much cheap Nepali labor so our flight was packed with men going to work in construction, mining, etc. Very hard life, no doubt. The airport was spotless and relatively comfortable. It must be such a culture shock for the Nepali workers coming here for the first time. So modern and full of high-end duty free shops (including Mercedes for sale).
