Took a taxi to Baktapur, which means "city of devotees". This world heritage site is a collection of Buddhist and Hindu temples, former palaces and buildings mostly dating from the 15th century. It's a beautiful, old city full of windy, narrow alleyways and is pleasant to walk around as it's (mostly) closed off to traffic.
