So we decided to take a bit of a side trip to France for a night...the French Riviera is pretty amazing. I dont know what i was expecting, or if i was expecting anything - but this is pretty cool. took a 4 hour ferry ride from torino, through some mountains, through monaco on the most beautiful coastal train route. Its nice to be somewhere for a day where i can at least understand the language. This part of france seems way more westernized than any of italy so far...maybe because it fills with rich american and brits in the summer. I cant type for too long because im in the skeezey part of town (dunno why internet cafes are always so skeezeley located) and its getting dark.... back to italy tomorrow after a morning swim in the mediterranian sea, next stop genova italy :)
