Slept in this morning. Decided to move on as this campground was so remote. Packed up and we were in an outlet mall that Marilyn had spotted by noon. Spent a couple of hours browsing (I bought new running shoes and we both got new raincoats at LL Bean) and then headed across the Bay Bridge to a KOA just outside of Annapolis. Nice spot. Set up and did some laundry. As we get closer to Washington the campgrounds get more expensive. (over $50). Thank goodness the price of gas is down compared to last year and we are traveling a lot less. Tomorrow we will explore Annapolis and then Saturday we are headed to Washington. We have booked 5 nights in Washington, actually College Park, Maryland and we will take the Metro (public transit – buses and subway) into Washington each day. After Washington we are headed back to the Eastern Shore for the Memorial Day weekend and then south down the coast to Savannah, Georgia with many stops along the way.
