Another long drive today: 300 miles. We are now further north than we have been in the last two years and what’s more, we are out of Arizona. We were beginning to wonder if that was possible. But yes, we really are going to the Pacific northwest just as we started to 3 years ago.

We got to the Park of the Sierras, a SKP par near CoraseGold CA, were greeted warmly and assigned to a very nice site. This park is close to Yosemite NP and built on hilly land. Each site is different and most have a storage shed on it. Ours has a patio and a deck. It is quite shady and just feels good.

The weather is in the 70’s which is a welcome relief from the 90’s we just left although the weather service says we will be over 90 here soon.

We have an agendaless day tomorrow and then plan to go to Yosemite on Friday. We want to get there before the weekend and before the tourist season starts.

Pictures today include Cottonwood Sunrise and some of our site in Sierra Park.
