| Another travel day through the panhandle of TEXAS. Scenery changed the NW side of Ft Worth. Trees became fewer and the elevation slowly and steadily increased while our MPG did the opposite. Charlie summed it up by saying it was a whole lot of nothing and more and more of the same. The computer truck light came on again so we did locate a dealer in Wichita Falls and after checking it out decided it could wait until after we returned home. No longer a worry and TRIP ON!!! The girls are loving being with us 24/7. TEXAS has very nice rest stops and we visited several today for them to run around and sniff. Spending two nights here so no driving tomorrow. It will be our first sight seeing day - no hiking planned, yet. |
