| Soooo, we are flying to Edmonton tomorrow to try out our new bikes, except Lynda's bike has not arrived! The bikes were built in Montreal, and shipped to the bike shop we are dealing with in Edmonton. Despite the best guess estimates that both bikes would be in Edmonton by today, Lynda's is still somewhere enroute. The bike shop, Redbike, has been great to deal with, and this tardy arrival is not a reflection of their overall service, which has been terrific. We have already had to push back the test rides by two weeks. We were supposed to be in Edmonton in late April to try out the bikes. The tickets were non-refundable, but we were able to add a leg to Winnipeg to visit Richard's mother, who is ill, and his sisters, a trip which we had to undertake before we leave the country. Well, perhaps while Richard rides, Lynda will shop! cheers Richard and Lynda |
