ron and janes excellent adventure travel blog

Hello again, we got to Red Rock and took a tour of my old home town, kind of depressing as the mill has closed down however it was fun just driving around and reliving old memories. The Rec centre where I spent a good portion of my time is closed now, so I really don't know what the kids in town do for fun, the Red Rock Inn ,which was a really great place for dinner or to go to the bar or to stay has reduced their services and are only open for accomodations. We checke3d out Allison's home and Lisa's home and of course my home. All still standing. We then went to Nipigon and tried to visit with Hughie, an old friend, but he had gone to Red Rock, go figure, anyway we headed to Kits and they were home. We had a really nice time with them and their son Brandon and his fiancee Julie came ffor a visit that night . We had a great bbq . The next day we took a tour of the area and headed to Polly lake to see Kit and Donny's camp, then we went on to where my camp was Kama Point--still looked very similar but the houses were different. We ended up in Rosport for lunch at a great little place then back to Kits. Hughie had called us to go visit so Ron and I headed over for a beer and a good laugh-Hughie hasn't changed much !!!!Oh I forgot to tell you , Donny made us Fin pancakes for breakfast which were excellent. We headed out today for Sault Ste Marie and on our trip we saw a moose, which was really exdciting, and I saw 2 deer as well. We visited with Ron's old college buddy in the SOO, and went out for dinner together. We head to North Bay tomorrow and will stay about 3 days and then get home on Thursday. It has been a fantastic holiday, one that we will be talking about for some time and this journal has been such a good way to remember everything we have done and be able to express it as we go, I will miss writing in it everyday and I hope you have had some fun along with me. see you at home love jane and ron
