Sorry, another stadium picture, but a great game.
We were picked up by shuttle from Ramstein, Germany at 5 am, flew to Prague, then onto Helsinki, took the bus to Turku. We arrived in Turku at 7pm, John Allen, Finland Coach picks us up on the roadside by the stadium. We run into the game and catch the second half. We then head to John's house and meet his wife Elena - she is from northern Finland right by the Artic Circle and their two kids, Rebecca (10) and Natlie (12) we are the first Americans the girls have met, hope we made a good impression. Marty was able to work with John and his team and see how the Finland premiere teams operate. We got to see how the Fins live. Very lucky, the weather had just turned nice and the sun was up until 10pm.
The best fish we have had on the trip! We found a booth at their open-air market and bought some smoked salmon from a guy who spoke no English, then we enjoyed by the main river that flows through town.
