Mountains of Capri
| Today we went from sorrento to the island of Capri!!! Capri was beautiful, after getting off the fairy we got on another boat and took a tour around the island. Its pritty small so we went around it in like an hour. The North side is where most of the touristy places are and the south side is where all the huge villas are that belong to very rich people. The island itself is beautiful and always green. Most of it is made of limestone which absorbes water, so the plants that grow on the lime stone always have a source of water. The island is very cliffy and really doesnt have any beaches, but the water is beautiful and you can go to the "beach" only ur on rocks not sand. After our boat ride we explored the island.There is a chair lift that takes you to the top of the island, but it wasnt working so we couldnt do it :(. There thing there is lemons and they made lemon chocolate which was very very good. |
