Chengdu was AMAZING!
When we got off the plane from Xian to Chengdu it was a short ride. When we got to the airport after we got our lugage, we saw Mei Mei's friend, Lu Hui.
She was very nice. Next to her was Mei Mei's mother so we visited, and then we went in a official car, because Mei Mei's father is a big part in Chengdu, so he has a special licence plate. So we went to dinner at a special place, and we met up with Mei Mei's father, but that place isnt privite but when you are with almost like a govener, he can get a private room. i thought that was SICK!
Then the next day, we went to the Panda place! OMG! it was soooooo cool! i took soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many pics. Since "My uncle" (Mei Meis father) is a ig part in the panda exibate too, we got to hold them! WE got in the whole exibate for free, and if you wanted a picture with a baby panda, you wouldve paid 200 yuan. but we didnt have to.
The pandas were sooooo cute! i couldnt believe i was holding one! it was just the coolest thing. if you go on my moms Website www.mytripjournal.com/returntochina you will see all the photos of the holding pandas!
Then we met up with Mei Mei and we hung out after. at about 10:00 pm. we went for a foot massage after dinner, and well it was about two hours! so we ended up being there till 12:00 midnight! Mei Mei said it was 40 min. lol! o well. it was really nice any way!
The next day we met up with her family and they brought us to the airport to go to Guangzhou. Then when we left i really didnt want to leave them! they were really nice! i missed them and they werent even gone yet! :(
