| We had a pleasant drive from Nashville today. Left about 9am, stopped about noon for lunch at a rest stop along I-40. Sue made egg salad, one of the benifits of having your kitchen travel with you. Had a minor pilot, co-pilot encounter navigating through Memphis. We should have listened to our GPS, but went with the map and did a few u-turns, 4 to be exact. Picture a 40 foot motorhome towing a truck going round and round. The moral to the story, listen to the gps. Arrived at Clarksdale Mississippi around 3pm, set up and spent the rest of the day taking it easy. We are staying at a great RV park, check out the picture. We decided to eat out. Had dinner at Paula Deen's buffet very good especially the dessert bar. Finished off the day with a nice long walk. Will sleep good tonight. Tomorrow off to explore Memphis. Elvis lives. |
