"Adventure is worthwhile." Amelia Earhart
This morning, we were able to take the public bus back to Manuel Antonio. We decided to stay at the beach outside of the national park for the day. Before picking out a spot, we did some last minute shopping at the stands set up on the sand. Then, we rented two beach chairs and an umbrella for a few hours. We spent time relaxing, watching the locals play soccer, and drinking juice straight from a coconut.
We left the beach around 2 to catch the public bus back and meet up with our group. We started our 4 hour journey to San Jose in private transportation. We stopped in Jaco to say goodbye to our friend Tonni, who was continuing his travels there. After a few more hours, we stopped at a local fruit stand to sample some things we have never seen, and that we can't even remember the names of! Yummy! We arrived in San Jose shortly before 8 last night. We had a final dinner with the group before telling Nanda and all our new friends goodbye.
