| Up late for our last full day here. Went to the pool, but I got very hot. My chest started to peel & have bumps, so I decided to not overdo today. We did walk the beach & Bev bought a turquoise ring. It's very pretty! For dinner, we went to Bev's favorite, The River Cafe'. It is lovely! There are no glass windows, everything is just open with lots of vegetation. WE got Margaritas, of course, and split a fillet mignon which was delicious! I told the waiter it is Bev's birthday so they brought out a lovely chocolate dessert with vanilla ice cream. It also had some fruit with it & someone had written "Happy Birthday" in chocolate on the plate. I took a picture of it. They even sang to her & I recorded that as well. After dinner, we looked in the jewelry store by the restaurant. Very expensive! There was a little boy I would guess about 4 yrs old, sitting in a little chair sound asleep. Nothing bothered him! We decided to walk home at 10:30 PM since it was our last night here. It's very safe. |
