Exploring the garden - Apr 10, 2009

Today we didn't have any plans so we decided to go off into the wilderness that is my Uncles garden.

We were hoping to uncover a few caves that were on the mountain side, but this turned into quite a mission as the bush was very thick in places, and ants were starting to bite.

It was exhausting, even in the shade of the jungle it was still very hot, so we only managed to find one cave before cutting ourselves back into the clearing!

The land is on top of many caves and there are holes in the ground in nearly every corner. We cleared one deep hole by burning the surrounding area, and may have another look if we feel brave enough, (and if we find enough rope)!

Even though we didn't go out today, this was by far the most tiring day, so plenty of rest was needed as well as salt and water...phew!
