Proof of Spring!

Welcome Back!

A number of readers commented that Stockholm seems quite nice, but you'd prefer whatever bit of warmth you're getting wherever you are. Well Spring has finally arrived and it's quite comfortable as long as you have the right genes.

Sun or snow, the sidewalk cafes open on April 1st and you can bet someone will be sitting out trying to catch any hint of sun that appears.

I'm adding a lot of photos this time that will give you a good idea how beautiful this city is. I've enjoyed Stockholm a great deal and will miss it.

And the people of Sweden are just about as nice and polite and friendly and easy to be around as one could imagine. It's been a real pleasure and I will return!

But the Geezer has yet to visit a few more countries in Europe - all of which lie to the North and East of Sweden. As I write this I'm logged onto wi-fi aboard a Viking ferry crossing a pond calm portion of the Baltic Sea on the way to Mariehamm and the Aland Islands. The oom-pah lounge band is playing a rather strange version of that Cajun classic - 'Jambalaya'. So, wherever you are "Have some fun on the Bayou!"

Life is sure a hoot, isn't it?

Good Travels and a Pleasant Spring!
