| Sat Feb 28 - Another call from Digna in the morning, talked with her, Carmen and Tanya. Angle there at 9A to take me to the airport to catch Aerogal to the Galapagos and define where he was to meet me when I return on Tuesday afternoon, as Rosa would be at work. I checked in and waited for the late plane in the Aerogal VIP lounge. Flight to Galapagos a little over 2 hours, met by Enrique (Tico), John and Gary who took me in the aviso to the boat, the Nina. Only 10 other passengers, all who had been on board for four days. My boat, the Athela, had cancelled and they switched me to the Nina, a new boat only on its second voyage. Met here by Gabby and we left immediately for Bob NY/Stamford lawyer and Robin (Europe with friend when 21) with sister in law Mickey to Amazon in Ecuador rafting, etc. after this tour. Nick New Zealand and Charlotte so good with names, on several month freehand tour of the Americas and Cuba. Luke Sydney Australia and Holly also on extensive tour. Mariela Austin, TX (MI before). Bob Michigan and Valerie. Enrique y Gabby, Juan, Gary. Long walking tour of Bartholomew Island. Good exercise. Good meal then briefing for Sunday activities. Read some and to bed. |
