Carriage ride dowtown Denver, CO

Good morning snow...

Up at Red Rock

Sinking Ship Rock

Hello Kansas!

Windy....super windy...

Day 3

Last night when we arrived in Denver, CO we went downtown the Hard Rock Café was closed for a private party so we decided to hop on one of the three carriages that were standing by. Noah chose “Nala” the horse to take us on our tour. Downtown also has a free bus ride so we hopped on and went down the strip. Noah loves being able to ride a bus with no seatbelt. We woke up to snow again but packed up and headed up to Red Rock. It was Beautiful, even with all the snow! We saw the famous sinking ship rock and got some great photos. We hit the road again and drove through Kansas. For anyone who has not been to Kansas, there is a secret to be told. Dorothy’s house did not blow away by a twister, it was just Kansas wind! It is SOOOOO strong we couldn’t let Noah’s hand go or he would have been knocked right over. No joke…I started to and then caught him…lol. There were FOUR vehicles on there sides along the freeway throughout the state. When we got closer to Kansas City, the MAJOR lightning and rain began. Aww…to live in Kansas….Lightning, wind, and rain, oh my! Not for me, no thank you. When we first started seeing the lightning Noah got scared, then we said it was just Gods fireworks…..well that did it! It was screaming and squealing with delight. That boy sure does love his fireworks. He keeps verifying that Disney World will have fireworks when we get there….every single day! But we are all having a blast and tomorrow…the Arch!
