Cheezey & Lou go State-side travel blog

Our last day was another great one.. surprised?, not us.

Got up the hill at usual time although the fresh snow and sunshine should have dictated otherwise.

Straight to 7th Heaven which was already tracked out by 11 but the wind-lip jump was still quite soft and forgiving.. although we both landed it, about time!

The slopes didn't seem that busy for a Sunday, just a couple of longer queues on the way up. We went over to the Blackcomb glacier next which was super soft and almost knee deep in places. Took bit of video footage of the hike up to the ridge then took turns filming each other down the run, some of which looked like Loo had fallen into a washing machine as sky, snow, sky, oomph was recorded. A quick dust down of the powder and we were off again whooping all the way.

Lunch in the usual spot at the Rendezvous restaurant at the Peak-to-Peak with fries and coffee to accompany our home made sangers.

We decided to video the wind-lip as confidence and energy was high, needless to say I stuffed it but Loo got hers dialed. It was getting late so decided a last run of the park was in order, manged to film one run before taking our last home run. I practiced some switch while Loo merely polished her style.. grrr.

A bit of knick knack shopping for the kids in town, also bumped into Brad from the instructors camp and swapped Facebook details as chances were we would not see them again. Then a quick jug at the Dam Bar before home to pack.

Managed to use up what was left in the cupboard in another bolognaise special and crashed by 10 ready for our long journey tomorrow. The hostel lady rang to advise she wont be there when we arrive but a key will be left out so make yourselves at home !
