I don’t really have much to share about today’s adventures. We departed Puebla, hooked up out on the highway and drove a short 90 miles to our next destination. The majority of our travels were on toll roads, including a new section which didn’t save us very many miles but did save us several small villages and topes.
Once we were parked - which took a bit of time - I pulled out the lawn chair and did some reading. Ken on the other hand, headed back to town for a trip to the grocery store for some more Tequila (all I have to say is that he’s discovered Hornitos….)
At 5pm we were surprised by the arrival of a local Mariachi band who performed for us for an hour. Afterwards we pulled out the barbeque and roasted up a bunch of hotdogs and sausages - food that we've been told we can't take back across the border even though they were purchased in the states!
