| Greatings from Tucson We have booked into Rincon Country East RV Resort in Tucson - it is beautiful! And we got a great deal - best rate so far - something about if we took one of the small lots - it is just as big as the one we had in Mesa - even a cement driveway for the truck. We have been on the go for the two days we are here. Took a drive on the Cactus Forest Drive of the Saguaro National Park -East. The scenery is absolutely magnificant! Today we did the West Saguaro National Park- including the International Wildlife Museum, Old Tucson Studios - (This is where most if not all of the John wayne Westerns were filmed) and the Arizona Sonora Museum(which is an outdoor walk of a world renowned zoo, natural history museum and botanical garden all in one place). Needless to say were we very tired after all of this activity in 85 degree weather! Tonight we are getting ready to be off early tomorrow and will go as far as we can - maybe Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are blowing out the trailer lines - preparing for cooler weather. It is the first day of spring today and here we are getting ready for reality back home! We haven't nailed down our route yet - playing it by ear - depending on the weather. Well this is about it for this time. Hope all is well with eveyone. Talk to you soon Thelma and rod |
