| We've made the first day of travel. It was touch and go for awhile. Didn't get the truck back until 2:00 and we pulled out at 3:00. I drove hard - wanted to arrive before dark and before the office closed at 8:00(not crucial) - we did both. This is a beautiful park! We're across from the adult pool and hot tub. Having a much needed drink and listening to some bluesy music Charlie put on. May even sneak over to the hot tub! Tomorrow we'd like to wait for Ft.Worth rush hour traffic to clear so will take our time leaving. Our destination tomorrow will be Amarillo. We're tired - it's been a long and frustrating day waiting to leave home. Yeah, I think I hear the hot tub calling... |
