We ended our day with dinner & a show - FANTASTIC
| The destination for today was the EcoPark Xcaret, but first we had to navigate the teeming streets of Cancun. We were up and on the road early (0730!) hoping to avoid the worst of the traffic. The roadways were a little bit less congested but in Cancun that's not saying much. 50 miles and 3 1/2 hours later we pulled into the back lot of the park to find that our fearless leaders request to trim the trees had not been met. We forged ahead, taking off that darn XM antennea again and managed to find room to park all 16 of us. After being banded, we headed in. Our entry included a buffet lunch, rental snorkel gear, a towel, locker and dinner with a show. This park is fairly large and slightly confusing to find your way around in but we've been here before and knew the highlights. After taking a trip down the underground river we headed out to lunch. From there it was off to the lagoon for some snorkeling and then some hammock time. After that we walked back to the coach - very convenient - for a shower and clothing change. We ended the night with a fantastic show and dinner. |
