There really is nothing to report, but figured I should write something.
Last weekend, we went to Tucson to look at some motohomes(our favorite past time), but didn't see anything we couldn't live without. While we were there, we did some other things too.
We looked up our favorite neighbors place that they used to own in Tucson. We took some pictures with own phone (we are so techy) and sent them to them. Hope you enjoyed them Wayne and Millie.
From there, we saw a sign for an rv rental spot. We called, and asked if we could see it. The guy said sure. Like Sue says, "we have met some interesting characters". To say he least!!!
It was WAY out in the desert, and the fellow was some thing else. We talked for quite awhile, about everything from "the Peters Company", to the drug wars in Mexico. Do you remember Peters Weiners? The fellow knew the owner, and told us of all the art collections he had. This was not a man with money, but he said he had helped out the Peters Weiners man one time, and he never forgot it. So, whenever he was in town, he got to hob nob with the "rich" guys. We thanked him for the conversation, and moved on.
From there, we went to look at a Serro Scotty. A 1966 model, that I found on Craigslist. To those of you who don't know what it is, it is a very cool little travel trailer. (I can't believe every one doesn't know what they are HaHa). It looked cool in the pictures, and even cooler in person. If we were in Mn., we would have bought it, but we have no way to get it home. We talked with George (the guy who owned it). I told him he should be asking alot more than what he was. He thanked me, and we moved on.
