Mom, Dad and Colby, with the birthday cake

This entry is primarily about the pictures taken while we were back in Hannibal for Colby’s birthday party.

Steve & Jennifer hosted the celebration in their home, and had Steve’s parents, Marilyn & I, and Cathy Jo & David and their children, Conner and Taylor, as guests.

By way of explanation, Cathy Jo is a Godmother for Colby, while Jennifer is the Godmother for both of Cathy Jo’s children.

Jennifer’s mother-in-law, Gloria, baked the birthday cake and also made a small personal cake for Colby. You may laugh at the pictures of Colby enjoying his personal cake.

Gloria also baked a bunch of cookies in the shape of the Sesame Street characters. She goes all out for these occasions and did a super nice job of decorating. I will post pictures of the cake and the cookies for you.

Another special item you will get a kick out of is the “Rocking Motorcycle” Steve made for Colby. I’m sure that Steve’s Dad, Al, helped in this project but both, Steve and Al, do wonderful work when it comes to the wood shop. We have posted pictures of the motorcycle for you.

We enjoyed our time in the game room, also built by Steve and his Dad.

So, we hope you enjoy the pictures. We had a fine time on this short visit back to Hannibal.

Thanks, Steve, Jen, Al & Gloria! You were good hosts and we appreciate your kindness.

God Bless!

Now, we can’t wait to see what tomorrow has in store…..
