Sunrise over Africa ending 9 hour trans-Atlantic flight
| Enroute on South African Airways to Cape Town from Sao Paulo with 1.5 hour layover in Jo'burg. Flight from Sao to Jo'burg is 9 hours. I will be 8 hours ahead of Central US time. I am staying in Bantry Bay area. I was actually farther south while in Patagonia, but this is my 4th all time continent to visit and now I am in Eastern Hemisphere as well as Southern Hemishpere a first for me. The South African Rand is currently R10.50 to $1USD making things here very cheap for us. |
