Tripjournal can't find this place, so we will have to do without a map location! I do not have the patience to try and find it, sorry!
Again amazing views heralded our drive through, with lots of waving to children along the way. Bottoms are not faring so well now, however, the toll is heavy, especially when there are big potholes!!
Arrived to our "new" resort which wasn't sogreat, but was right by the lake and very pretty. Supremely comfortable beds and pillows and HBO!

Left at 8.30am as we have a longer ride today - about 200km. Beautiful mountain pass untilour first coffee stop. We really like the vietnamese drip coffee, its strong but nice over ice and very refreshing. Then it all got a bit stressful as we entered Buon Ma Thuot, the coffee central area of Vietnam (Vietnam is the 2nd largest exporter of coffee). Made our own spring rolls for lunch which was yummy, and then took awrong turning and it all got very busy and not nice! Eventually turned round and got back on track and it turned into a lovely ride - smells of coffee, flowers and tea. Drove through a long plateau of rice fields, so very green.
Arrived in Lak Lake, and found an alternative guesthouse as Pat's place was way expensive. Saw our first westerners of the trip, which was wierd, and watched some local kids practising their Karate.
