We headed north from Fort Pierce yesterday and spent the night at Cocoa, Florida. After the visit to the vet for Annie, ear infection, and the new addition, Sheba, inital checkup we are a few dollars lighter. The kitten is about 6 months old according to the vet and she is healthy, all of her shots for the next year and everything else.
We drove out to the Kennedy Space Center to check out the parking for the anticipated launch on the 12th today. We drove around Cocoa Beach and then stopped at Dixie Crossroads in Titusville to have some of the rock shrimp everyone told us we had to try. I have to admit they were pretty good. You order them by the dozen, so we ordered three dozen and split them. They butterfly them and then broil them. They serve corn fritters covered in powered sugar, obviously not real healthy but very good. Tomorrow we head to the Orlando area and will get set up for the kids arrival on the 5th.
