My Training in Belgium travel blog

Finally made it here. Started working right away. There are a lot of people here. They speak Dutch, French and English (and some speak German).

It was hard going to the store for the first time. I didn't understand any of the words. So I had to look at pictures or familiar brands. So I brought some macaroni, spaghetti sauce, butter, fruit cocktail.

Some things are cheaper here. I brought a loaf of freash cut bread from the corner bakery for 2 euros (about $2.30) But a tube of lip gloss is 11 euros (too much). But first I had to get some Euros because they didn't take American dollars. The TV stations are in French and Dutch (some English). The plugs and light switches look different also.

I want to get some Belgium waffles this weekend.

Please write and ask question.

Love you.

Miss my Hubby and kids.

Will download photos when I can get my camera hooked up to the computer.
