| Mel and Lynn and Bob and I took a private van from Carmelo to Montevideo where they had a flight later that night and we had an overnight bus to Brazil. (A little jealous of Steve who stayed with the rest of the group who took a hydrofoil boat across the river to fly out of Buenos Aires!) We had a nice tour guide who showed us around the Old City, Port Market, and a few neighborhoods of Montevideo. The city is ´just fine´, but there isn´t a ton to see or do and we were killing time by late afternoon while we were awaiting our transportation out. |
