| After a bus ride with a stop at a cashew store (most variety of nuts and coatings I've ever seen), we made our way to Chang Kong. My room looks right onto the Mekong River and into Laos. That evening we walked through town, had a fun evening with another tour group and went to bed. The following morning I went for a run up and down the river (due to the evening before, Nicole was not up for it:). After a 7am breakfast we exited Thailand, took a quick boat across the Mekong and entered Laos. We then made our way to a super large long boat and set off. |
