| We left out of Madisonville, Tenn. on a warm rainy morning and it pretty much stayed that way all day as we were driving except the temp dropped about 25 degrees. The drive thru Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi was scenic with lots of rolling hills and low mountain views. When we got to Meridan we went to NAS(Naval Air Station) and shopped around the exchange and commisary for a few things. Stopped at the bowling alley and picked up some supper, then onto our suite to spend the night just relaxing. Boy I enjoyed my bath! The view from our room overlooked a beautiful lake. Had a good night's rest and then were on our way again headed to Louisianna. |
