Getting ready to travel is a challenge, especially in the winter months of Colorado. You really can't load a lot of liquid stuff until you are ready for heat and travel. So the process becomes one of gathering, planning and looking for what you have to gather that you forgot to plan to take.
Snow here, cold here (1 above last night). We are ready to travel, but first family! Today, our oldest granddaughter gave birth to a wonderful, beautiful and (well you fill in the blanks...) baby boy at 12:12 a.m. All parts are there, he is 7lb 3oz and 20 plus inches long!
To hold a creation of God only a half a day old is an experience of blessing, love, commitment and honor. To hold a baby is another thin space between Heaven and Earth!
Now to more thinking as to what to take with us, probably not the new great-grandson although I would long to show him this great country - perhaps in several years! Until then, click on photo to see a larger image. Barb, Stephanie, baby, Rebecca, and Emily - four generations with the boy magnet!
