| We spent the morning reading and lazing about. Rhiannon and Sara went to the Kids Club to do a book on their holiday. We then did the walk to the town along the track. It did not seem as big a trek as when Liam and I did it the other morning. The strangest thing happened to Liam's, Rhiannon's and Miranda's Crocs, one foot each had shrunk ....heat effected!!! So we ventured first to the surf shop to get Liam some thongs!!!! Yes it is true I, Michelle Feely bought my child thongs!! We had lunch at the bakery and then wandered down the street when I spied a bookshop. It is like entering someones one room home and it having shelves scattered on the walls with a selection of books, new and secondhand and in the back corner is a coffee machine with sofas and chairs leading you out to decking and a grassed area where tables and chairs are scattered....It was like my perfect spot. I could not think of any place that could top it!!! We bought some books and a coffee!!! Then whilst I read a few books to the kids, Sean walked back to get the car as Miss Miranda was getting very tired and needed to sleep!! When returning to the CP Miranda was fully awake and ready for a swim so Sean took the kids to the pool whilst I poured myself a wine and sat in the sunshine and read my book. We had a BBQ dinner and kids went to bed early. |
