Homeward bound!Jan 6, 2009

| Yup, after almost exactly one year to the day I begin the long trek back to Luxembourg. I arrive there on Friday 9 Jan, my birthday, which will be exactly one year to the day I left on my travels. I can hardly believe that it is time already to head back. Many thoughts of what to do next filter through my brain constantly with the main thought being to go travelling again:)) Who knows, since there are many countries either to be seen in greater depth or not touched by yours truly, travelling may become a very serious option. I have a stop in Bangalore, India on my way back to Lux so will get a small taste of India all be it a very modern one. The visa for India is open until 18 May 2009 so with a bit of planning I could be there soon enough. But first back to life in Lux which I am sure has changed greatly since I was away. One thing not changed is that it is freezing cold and snowing so should be interesting when I arrive back with only the thinnest of jerseys to keep me warm. The shout has gone out already to Paula, without who's help all year my trip would have been so much more difficult, to find me my warm winter coat, so hopefully I shall not freeze. Right I had better pack:) |
