We got up to the mountain a bit late as we were talking to an English couple from London. When we finally got there we went right up the top of the mountain and were 2000m high. Brett skied for a bit and found a great run, and then we met for lunch on the lower part of the mountain (about 1300m). From there Brett skied down to the bottom and I caught the lift.
On our way to dinner it was snowing. We had a beautiful Austrian dinner and were even given part of a typical Austrian dessert, a souffle, from a couple, as it was huge and there was no way they were going to finish it.
It was absolutely freezing on our walk back.
It didn't feel like Christmas as there was no family around, but it was certainly a great experience.
