| After an awesome breakfast (we got cooked eggs) we headed off and hired out Brett's ski gear. He then headed up the mountain while I went window shopping. Zell am See is situated on a lake and it is absolutely stunning. Thanks goes to my sister Heidi for recommending this place. Now I was supposed to meet Brett for lunch but my mobile was playing up and I couldn't contact him nor could he contact me, so I let him fend for himself and I went in search of lunch. Most places including the supermarkets closed at 1pm (for their family christmas celebrations) and "cafes" only had cakes. I eventually found food and headed back to the villa. Brett came back at 3 and we ended up watching Far and Away with Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise, however it was dubbed in German, as all movies are, so it was rather interesting. We then wondered around town to find dinner, but most places were shut or full. Thankfully an Italian restaurant let us in, otherwise it would have been bread rolls. We managed to stay awake for a 10pm church service, which was all in German. |
